Hello All,
Today is a celebration in Lebanon! This celebration is called "Feast of St. Maron". For my readers who may not know, St. Maron was a Christian missionary who spread the ideals of Christianity. St. Maron has spent most of his life doing missionary work helping people of all faiths. This holiday is symbolic to many Christians inside Lebanon; this is where St. Maron introduced the concept of Christianity to those in the Lebanese region. St. Maron had become so wide known because he converted a temple in the mountain of Syria into a Christian church. Upon his death in 410 A.D. his practices continued on through his disciples. This day is observed by many followers of St. Maron. Maronites celebrate The Feast of St. Maron in their churches with special services and various entertainment activities. During lunch, traditional Lebanese food such as Tabbouleh, Kibbe Nayye, and salad. To the followers of St. Maron Happy Holiday!!!!!!
